Dominoes
Match the pips and be the first to play all your tiles
About This Game
Dominoes is the classic tile-matching game where you connect tiles end-to-end by matching their pip values. Each domino has two halves showing 0-6 pips, and you play by placing a tile where one half matches an open end of the chain. The first player to empty their hand wins the round, scoring the total pips left in opponents' hands.
The game uses a double-six set (28 tiles) and follows standard draw rules. If you can't play, you draw from the boneyard until you can. Strategic depth comes from reading the board: tracking which numbers are in play, estimating what tiles the AI holds, and controlling which values are available at the chain endpoints.
How to Play
- Each player draws 7 tiles from the boneyard (the rest form the draw pile)
- The player with the highest double plays first
- On your turn, play a tile that matches one open end of the chain
- If you can't play, draw tiles from the boneyard until you can (or it's empty)
- The first player to play all their tiles wins the round
- Score points equal to the total pips left in opponents' hands
