FreeCell
Every card face-up, every game solvable — the thinking player's solitaire
About This Game
FreeCell is the solitaire variant where skill trumps luck. All 52 cards are dealt face-up into eight tableau columns, so you can see exactly what you're working with from the start. Four free cells in the corner serve as temporary storage, letting you maneuver cards around the board. The goal is to build four foundation piles from Ace to King by suit.
Nearly every FreeCell deal is solvable — estimated at 99.999% — but finding the solution requires genuine strategic thinking. Free cells are your most precious resource: use them wisely and you can untangle the most knotted boards, but waste them and you'll find yourself locked out of critical moves.
