Pyramid Solitaire
Match pairs of cards that add to 13 to tear down the pyramid
About This Game
Pyramid Solitaire is a matching-based solitaire game where cards are arranged in a pyramid shape, seven rows high. Your goal is to remove all cards by pairing them so their values add to 13. Kings are worth 13 and can be removed on their own. Queens (12) pair with Aces (1), Jacks (11) with Twos (2), and so on.
Only exposed cards — those not covered by any other card — can be selected. This creates a strategic element: sometimes you need to remove cards from the pyramid in a specific order to uncover the ones you actually need. The stock pile provides additional matching options, but not every deal is solvable, making smart card selection crucial.
How to Play
- Cards are arranged in a seven-row pyramid, each card overlapping two below
- Remove pairs of exposed cards that add up to 13
- Kings (13) can be removed alone — no pair needed
- Q(12)+A(1), J(11)+2, 10+3, 9+4, 8+5, 7+6 are the valid pairs
- Draw from the stock when no more pairs are available
- Clear the entire pyramid to win
